Initiation Time: 2:20pm & Blog was written at 8pm

Tasks to be done in next maximum of 1 and half-hour:

1. Compile an Anthology

Initiating my compiling by finalizing the book cover

It took a little longer to accomplish this task due to the interferences. I started at 2:20 pm and according to plan, I had to complete it within an hour, but it took 30 minutes extra. Firstly, I had to complete the cover of my anthology on Canva.com. While doing it, I had to add some additional stuff such as Table of Contents, About Compiler in the book to give it a handsome look.

Third Pomodoro Time Session Work

The interferences I had to face were messages from Editor-in-Chief of Curative Magazine, Co-authors of the anthology, and DMs on Instagram.

I did not take a break after every 25 minutes, but I went to play badminton at 5 pm as a treat for myself, till the sunset. From 4 to 5 pm, I did my 2nd activity.

2. Take Creative Writing Course from Digi skills for 25 minutes

Taking lectures from DigiSkills

Between 4 pm to 4:45 pm, I attended recorded lectures of my course in Creative Writing. Between this duration, I did not face any interference. Even if I received notifications, I ignored them and kept focusing on the target. For 15 minutes, I had to get prepared for my badminton game.

3. Read a book for 25 minutes

After the Badminton game, it was time to breakfasting. Then, I read my book for 25 minutes, the only interference I faced during book reading was overwhelming reminiscences. But, I coped up with them.

Reading a Poetry Book

The experiment was not difficult for me to do as I am used to working for hours in one sitting. I have to say that it was fun to do with Pomodoro this time because it was an addition to the tasks and looking after them was a task itself.

If about accomplishing stuff, it was more than before. As the timer was ticking and I had to work under pressure circumstances. But it led me not to waste any minute but to keep focusing on the targets.

Yes, definitely! I will do it again and make it part of my routine. It is beneficial up to some circumstances and those are helpful. The skill of time management is what I learned the most from this experiment. If about taking initiatives or doing things to make the experiences more helpful, I will put my cell phone on DO NOT DISTURB mode to help me concentrate on my tasks, efficiently. Further, I will have a bar of chocolate after every 25 minutes. Scientists say that chocolate helps to boost up the mind. Even though the distractions will be there, I will try to make sure I will able to manage my time, emotions, and mental tasks as per benefits.
